Why did you choose your carrier?

When I was a child I was pretty sure to become an archaeologist because I loved the dinosaurs  and I wanted to find them around the world!. But when I grow up , I realized that I have to live far away from my country and family ,so I decided to leave this dream (so sad isn't it?).Then when I was at high school I was interested in Biology and Chemistry so I started to looking for some  careers that connected them, and I found Medicine and Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences but then I thought if I would be able to see bodies and blood and the answer was a big no! So that's the reason why I choose Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences. :)
And it's a month now and  I always think it was the best decision of my life! because I like the subjects, my classmates are very friendly and I would like to work in a laboratory.

Postgraduate studies Sometimes when I think in my professional future I have to admitted that I would like to do a Ph.D. degree because I would have more knowledge in some area and I would give a better service for the people in this case in the health area making some research in some drugs that could treated some diseases ( like cancer or unusual disease) and sell it in a low price (if it possible) because the major part of this country can’t afford some expensive treatments to keep alive their children or some parent  for the cost of them ,  and in that way improve their health and quality of life.   In my case, I would like to take a Pharmacology Ph.D. degree or take a Diploma doing a programme about the Pharmaceutical sciences because I think that these two areas complete each other.  And I would like to study in Chile or Spain because in these countries Spanish is their mother tongue and so I’ll be able to understand perfectly what is...

English Language Challenges

English Language Challenges Well, I don’t know about you guys, but this was my second time doing and writing a blog, (the first one was on the first semester at University) and I must admit that I thought that I wasn’t able to write so many words about different topics and less in English! Now I’m very proud of me because I could do it and I like it because I share my experiences and thoughts about various themes with you since my favorite book or film until post-graduate studies, so through the blogs, you can know me more and vice versa! And this blog gives me the opportunity to apply the words that I know in English to write about everything. So now I can say that my abilities in writing maybe improve a little more, but I must admit that in the beginning was a little difficult for me because I don’t know very well the English grammar and the pronunciation and the listening, so I would like to take in the future, grammar classes and try to watch more films in English withou...

My best holiday

A holiday that I remember very well was like 2 years ago on February when with my family and my aunt went to visit different cities on the south of Chili like Frutillar, Hornopiren, and Puerto Montt. Fortunately, we had very nice weather so we can visit all of them without a problem.  We were three days and four nights on Puerto Montt and from that city we travel to the others places so as you can think were many hours traveling on car but it was worth it because the nature, the landscapes, the food, the lakes (the water is so clean that you can see perfectly when you are swimming) are extraordinary! Because at night you can see all the stars and during the day, you can see some volcanos, things that you can’t see in a city!  Some activities that we did was swimming on the lakes (the water it’s cold but was amazing), trekking, and visit the cities.
